My transmission randomly started to grind going into 1st or 2nd. It was fine up until today, now the shift is knotchy and sometimes grinds into 1st and 2nd... the rest of the gears are fine. The clutch and master/slave cylinders were replaced about 10k ago. Any ideas what it could be? I'm going to check the fluid level later today... but it just started happening out of the blue while i was driving.. ****.
How long can i keep driving with bad synchros? As long as i rev match, it shouldn't be too much of a problem right? ****.
how was the fluid level?
even with rev matching its still not good. does double clutching make it not grind? i know its a pain but if that works id do it.

just go easy on it, no WOT shifts, no stupid stuff you know?
dont even downshift into 1st, just toss it in nuetral and use your brakes if you have to.

only reverse is syncronized, thats why it likes to grind unless you put it in 5th first.

I don't know. I don't know much regarding the internals of a tranny. I've been double clutching to down/upshifting to 2nd and its been working out well so far... just a bit slower on my gear changes.
