i just replaced my stock 2 piece driveshaft with an aluminum 1 piece off a ~98+.
around town its fine, super smooth. feels like the throttle response is improved a lot.
but at highway speeds (i guess 60+, my speedo is still ****ed up) theres a noticeable vibration that varies with rpm. at around 2800rpm in 4th its the worst, theres even some vibration in the rear view mirror.
would rotating the u joint in the yoke really help that much, or should i take it to a shop to have it balanced with new u joints?
i didnt have any vibration like this before with the 2 piece. so its not my wheels or anything.
i never have any luck with parts.
ahha, meant to post in drivetrain, my bad.
