Hey...so lately my car has been doing some hesitating switching into 3rd gear. Well, tonight Ive completely lost 3rd gear. I have a 98 firebird A4 tranny. Every other gear is fine and runs like they always have, or as long as Ive had the car (a year). But when its goes from second to 3rd the car acts like its in neutral and will just rev until i let the car switch to 2nd or just throw the shifter down to second. Is my transmission shot, or could it be something less troublesome? If I need a new tranny, I was thinking converting to a T5, how much more would that cost?
