v6 transmission question

ok i have a 2000 firebird v6 i picked up and am searching the net hi and low to find out what bolt pattern the trans is. Is it the same as the front wheel drive trans pattern since the engine is a front wheel drive engine originally or did the give the engine block a diff bolt pattern.

fwd engines and rwd engines are practically the same. cept for oil pan, accessories, ect.
so yes the rwd engines and fwd engines have the same bolt pattern, i actually have a fwd engine in my car

the northstar bellhousing is different

you can do that, but you are not going to be able to use one of the bolts from the engine to trans.

i was saying that the fwd 3800 is the same as the rwd 3800. A northstar is a different story

northstar has same bolt pattern as fwd 3800. thats why i was wondering what pattern trans had so id know if N* would bolt to it

i know not the exact same but close enough for fiero guys to swap N* in there cars without issues now just need a pcm pinout for my car
