shattered forks suck!

I was driving my car home the other night, have been having trouble with first and second gear, grinds like hell going in and most of the time i skip second because of it. finally it broke. got stuck in first, cluch worked, shifter moved into other gears, but would not come out of gear. pulled it apart, and the back fork was broke bad.I am taking to a shop in dallas tx on wednesday and picking it up on sat. Is $300 a good price for a complete rebuild with new GM forks, blocker rings, yada yada yada. cleaned, painted and ready to rock?
