  • 1950s GM video on how a differential works.

    Saw it on another board, thought it was cool. If you understand that inside and outside wheels spin at differnet speeds skip to 2:00 mark past the motorcycle stuff.

    Cool explanation.

            That's actually really cool. That's exactly what I'm upgrading next so awesome timing as well. I also found this which I believe is pretty helpful. A bit different from our setup but I don't feel as if I'm going into this blind anymore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruklIjF7orA&NR=1

                        I had to watch this in my automatic & manual drivetrains class last semester haha.
                        94 Camaro convertible -- mostly stock
                        97 Firebird -- Project Car - kyb agx shocks, eibach springs, 3.42 torsen diff, aluminum driveshaft, slp cai, pacesetter headers, magnaflow cat-back. hptuners. not done yet.

                          Ha, I never understood how differentials worked. I do now after watching the video. Great find!
