ever since i got my car ive always wanted to add a tranny cooler because ive always heard about how the trannys in camaros got really hot. and hp tunner over here were i live im pretty sure know one has ever heard of it. i live near the border of mexico like 2 hour from san diego. but it ok if i do the shift kit and valve without the tune right?

but your can get a tranny cooler for under 20 bucks.

might as well do it while your doing the other things.

a stall and a torque converter. is clearly going to be a LARGE undertaking.

its koo no prob. one question where does the tranny cooler go? and how hard of intalation is it?

tranny cooler goes right in front of your radiator. and if your still have the condensor (if your ac still works youll have this) itll then go in front of that.

then youll run the tranny coolent lines.

my suggestion is to also use the radiator as well as the tranny cooler (the radiator is the factory way of cooling the tranny)

using both is just.better

ok. so there are two line.

1 for i
1 for out. (hot tranny fluid goes into the rad. and then comes out cooler and goes back into the tranny)

how to go about using both is. (you only use one line)

take the OUT line from the rad. put it on the top part of the tranny cooler.

then from the bottom of your tranny cooler. you run it back into the "in" pipe. that goes into the tranny itself.


so the matirials you will need are (3 hose clamps)
about 3 feet of trans cooler hose (its cheap...real cheap)

and thats it =]

soudns fairly simple right now im looking for shift kit on ebay. do you know where i can find it fairly cheap or how much do they go around for?

well i got mine for 5. haha

but you can usually get em for like 10-30.

autozone there to expensive. as well as a autoparts store. but if you dont have patience. i guess thats the place to go.

but ebay. TRY craigslist. uhmm. discount web sites.
