one more question do i have to get the corvette servo from what i saw in the instructional video it comes already with somethign similiar to it or am i wrong
The shift kit will have a valve that replaces the one that is worn.
No you do not have to get a corvette servo. I did not when I did mine, although for the shift kit install you have to remove the servo anyways (I didn't realize this when I did mine) so why not throw a vette servo in while your at it? :D
Once you get the shift kit the instructions will explain it a bit better. But you have a choice of adding 1-3 spacers that changes the 1-2 shift. I went with 2, its snappy as hell. 3 would probably kill any girl you take along....:wavey:
just got my shift kit i was lookign at the instructions and it says to drill holes on the separater plates did anyone drilled the holes, the video doesnt say to drill them are they necessary?
Yes I drilled the holes. Its easy and the paper instructions point out which ones to do. I used the smaller of the two bits supplied. I would do it if I was you.
do i do it in the same spot on both of the plates? the instruction says to use the bigger of the two bits? one more question whats the deal with teh epc screen idk where i have to drill? or where to put the wire spacer?
well the bit you use depends on if you are doing the "race" or "street." I went with "street" and I assume both plates, but i only remember one....
Wire spacer goes inside the screen. Holes are drilled through the plastic part of the screen if I recall. Seems like the paper instructions should tell you all of that....
