  • Clutch Hydraulic Line

I am looking for the hydraulic line that runs from the master to slave. I have a 3.8 with 5spd. Anyone know where i can get one? I checked the local yards and nobody has one. It is also impossible to find online, or im just retarded and can't find one? Help is much needed since I am doing the tranny swap sometime at the end of next week.

The only place that I know of is the dealership, and IIRC you have to buy the master cylinder to get it
    1997 Chevrolet Camaro
L26, Pacesetter headers, SLP cai, Centerforce DF clutch, Pro 5.0 shifter, UMI short stick, 1le driveline, J&M 35mm front swaybar, UMI lca's/phb/sfc's, KYB AGX shocks, Hotchkis stb.

You are right, I already looked there. I already have the master and slave and just need that dam line. This is the last piece I need for my swap. Anyone have an extra one they are willing to sell?

Does anyone have the part # for the hydraulic line?

Or better yet, where to find one? (Other than the dealer)

It's just a braided line, I bet a local shop could make it for you.

pertty sure that you can't just replace the line, you need the entire master

              This one would probably work.

X2 , its the master because when I swaped from M5 to A4 I still had it zip tied with the braided line until I finally took it out. I would price out Rock auto first or ebay since their likely to have one cheaper, it holds fluid so not too much to go wrong.

This is what sucks... I have a brand new master cylinder ready to go in, but it didn't come with a line, and my old one got crushed at some point.... I guess I'll see if I can return it and find a new one that includes the line

I remember reading on ls1tech that I would be able to reuse my master and hydraulic line when doing my LS1 / T56 swap. I havent done the swap yet, so I am not 100% though.

On www.tacreations.com they show that the 3.8-T5 and LS1-T56 both use a hydraulic throw out bearing. E-mail tacreations and see what they would sell you a line for.
