To find out what gears you have look in your glove box and compare with the codes in the technical database.
But when I look in and around my glove box (98 Firebird), I find no labels at all. Is there somewhere else the axle gear ratio is listed? I recall looking at the rear axle tubes on other GM cars to get the code. Same with the F-bodies?
Ugg. You guys are right. I was reading the tire/gvw sticker on the door earlier and completely missed the big white sticker with all the three digit RPO codes right at eye level when squatting down to read the GVW sticker.
