Great spark plug and set of wires! :)

Installed in my '96 3.8L Camaro, it runs and idles much smoother.

Did not have to set a gap on these plugs either which was interesting.

i still have my plugs and msd wires sitting in the box they came in from summit, lol im waiting till my engines class starts to do compression testing before i put them in. how do you like the wires?? i went with NGK plugs.

Love the MSD 8.5 wires, I always use NGK TR55 for N/A $2 a plug. For FI apps I use NGK TR6's and still $2 a plug. How much are the E3 plugs?

Damm , $5.99 a plug, I'll have to stay with NGK TR6's when I run FI since they are made for it.

Yes they are expensive and through Summit. High priced but so far my 106 mile round trip commute been smoother in cruising quality and at high speeds as well. My 2 yr old NGK plugs were the Iridium type so we will see how long the ES3 plugs last.

MSD Super Conductor wires are awesome. Came with a nice MSD sticker for my beer fridge. :tup:

I resolved my intermittent ABS INOP light, by accidental luck. :rock:

I recall in 2007, right after installing NGKs and AC Delco wires I turned on the motor and everything seemed to run smoother but my ABS INOP light suddenly went on after a few minutes at start-up if not then several miles after start-up. I thought this was gonna be a problem and searched for the answer but not much pinpointed to the root cause so I let it go for 2 yrs even though I can still stop on a dime. The warning light came on like a ritual everyday like clockwork I swear it. I even had GM clear the codes for free back then and they could not see the ABS module giving any indication of malfunction off their GM Tech 2 scanner. They told me the ABS is working properly so I kept on driving it. I had the AC Delco wires loomed and routed as far away as possible from the ABS module too. I even removed the stock metal boot protectors you find in these 3.8L motors as part of my electrical troubleshooting thinking they gave off or amplified some stray static in the engine bay at dark.

Now after 4 days of observation and spirited WOT blasts down long highways, I'm happy to report that the MSD Super Conductor Wires eliminated my intermittent ABS INOP light even after the first run. This is my finding and I'm still waiting for the ABS warning light to go on. So far so good!

It has to be the superior electrostatic noise supression from MSD versus AC Delco wires. The MSD insulated wires are much thicker in appearance. I can now drive my Camaro without the pesky light going off religiously on me. AM radio reception is clearer and not buzzy as you mash the pedal I noticed. I'm lovin' it. :D :cool:
