H4703XV vs H4703

I was just wondering if anyone knows if there really is any difference between the standard replacement H4703 and the H4703XV. The XV is for extra vision. I know for a long time there was no silverstar upgrade for our sealed beam headlights but I came across these today. I'm going to be upgrading my fog lights to a 55 watt setup that should look stock and was thinking about what I coudl do to upgrade or crappy sealed beams.

There is a guy selling NOS headlights they put on the european firebirds but they cost an arm and a leg so I was wondering if anyone knows if the XVs are any better than the standard H4703s.
