lol, bigger ones! I just went to murray's and found some big wires, a couple of wire ends and made my own. You can solder or crimp em in. I tried soldering but that didn't turn out too well so I mashed em in. Every auto store has big *** wires. I left my old ones on too so they're basically doubled up.

Oh and besides the ground wires, get something bigger for the hot wire that goes from the battery to the alternator too. For all that crap, it'll be like 15 bucks for what you need.

Where on the front did you move the ground to. One of the bolt holes on the front of the heads would be a good spot after you clean it w/ sandpaper. Welding ground wire is great and will take the heat. I have also cannibalized a set of jumper cables before. Heat shrink tubing is a good idea too. After you crimp your ends on, you can heat the metal crimp fittings and push solder into the open end of the already crimped fitting once the solder begins to melt. Then just place the heat shrink where you want it and apply heat.
