dead reciever?

So I'm getting into the nitty gritty of getting my car back to 110%. One agonizing issue is that I'm absolutely certain that I have keyless entry, but none of the remotes I have bought/found will sync up. I've googled, read through the owners manual, and even talked to a dealership (never again BTW). No one can sync up a remote to the car. I've checked and I have every indication of keyless entry, but it doesnt work. I'm starting to think that the reciever in the car is dead or disconnected...help?

i actaully bought a the remote for the keyless entry awhile back on ebay and it came with instruction on how to programm it with the car. i had to remove the strereo fuse and open and close the key eight time then hold the unlock and unlock button for idk how long i dotn remember then the car will unlock itself adn trunk will open. i tried looking for the instruction on my email but i dint find them.

Tried it. Maybe I dont have the right remote. Can you read me the numbers on the back, I might search for an identical one.
