Anyone use the Hella 2500 Angel Eye driving lights? These are 4" diameter and look like they will fit nicely in place of the stock fog lights. Thinking of ordering a set, but not sure if I like the halo look, and not sure how well they work. They are hella, so they should be decent.
Anyone here use these that can comment on their performance?
Which car? 4 inch sounds way too big for any stock location.
I have the hella FF75 and hella 90mm projectors and am extremely happy with them, so that says something for the brand, although I have no experience with those in particular.
My bad. They are for my 98 Firebird. The oem fog lights are 4.5" round. These hella are 4" rounds. I want to replace the fogs with a powerful set of driving lights.
With glass lenses and die cast aluminum housings, they should be able to handle a 100 watt H3 bulb with no problem.
And to run the higher watt h3 bulb, additional wiring will be needed. I don't think the original harness is up to it.
