Car will not start

Ok so yesterday morning i get in my car and it wont start. Took the battery to autozone, it;s fine and charged fine. Took the starter off today, got it tested, it's fine. SO, I've been reading it can be a VATS issue. When will the security light stay on? when i have I have the ignition on as usual the ses light is on (goes off when started) and the security light is on, but i cannot remember if it was one before. When I got to crank it sometimes it will turn off right away, other times it will stay on for a second or less then turn off. I tried taking a voltage reader and hooking it up to the started wires and couldn't get any voltage.

BTW i have a manual fan switch and the allbeam mod (in the how-to section) Im not sure if this will do anything to my ignition or not.

Sounds silly but are you sure the fuel pump is working? What your describing in it shutting off right away or trying to start but not turning is exactly what I just had and it was the pump. Easy way to tell there is listen for it when you put the key in the accesory position, if you hear that whirring sound then it's not the pump.

sorry i forgot to say the starter doesnt do anything. No spinning at all

Make sure your connections to the battery are good, no corrosion and make sure your making good contact.

The security light will come on and stay on if its a VATTS issue.

wat else could it be besides VATS though?

VATS system the car will still crank, just wont start. So you can cross that one off.

Could be an ignition switch.. Have you checked the fuses, It COULD be as easy as that.
