Wipers park in the upright position

So, i go to turn off my wipers the other day and they parked in the upright position. what do i do. they work fine when they are on but when i turn the off they go down to the bottom (look like there gona lock in) and than go right in the middle of my windshield

It's the motor. Do a search and you will find the specifics and how you can possibly fix your existing motor or replace it with a new one.

My car does the same thing. Haven't gotten around to replacing the motor (motor unit also includes the controls so thats why you need to fix the motor assembly). You can get away with just pushing them down when they aren't in use for the time being. Its a PITA solution but it can get you by for a bit.
