How hard is it to wire up a remote start system in a car? And what system would be a good one to get?

i have an autopage alarm system, i didnt install it so i cant help you there but the guy that did it told me that its vipers #1 comp. alarm cost about 130 and works well for me.

The biggest thing is bypassing the vats system which people do all the time anyway. You'll just want to wire it in such a way that you still have the function of the vats when you aren't remote started. Other than that it's just a matter of getting in the steering column with your wires and splicing into the ignition wire. You'll have to do a nuetral safety bypass too if you have a manual tranny.

Remote start is still one of my favorite things I've done to my car... It'll be one of the first things I do once I buy another car...Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
