Re: 255 fuel pump
I made an aluminum plate for mine and then attached it with rivets and then a hose clamp to hold the pump. Don't over tighten the hose clamp or you can damage the pump.
Try and keep the filter sock at the correct height and direction.

I made a small "U" bracket to hold the pump to the bracket. Similar to a muffler clamp "U" bracket. Shown in this pic.

Follow up with an access cover.
