L.E.D Hood Scoops

[Unique96Camaro]

So i put in 24 cm L.E.D strips in the hood scoops. Here's how i did it.



FIRST- Drill out the middle hood scoops so that you can fit like a quarter of a inch in them.

SECOND- Drill out the inlay part of the scoop with like twenty holes.



THIRD- Fit the led strip in with apoxy in so it stays.





Then run the power wire and ground threw the heat shield part. To A wire cover that you'll put in and hook it up to a switch.

Good idea, actually. I think I might do this with amber LED strips and hook them up to my turn signals. Got any pictures of the hood scoops themselves after modification?

Also, this is more of appearance section topic. Electrical is mostly for problems and questions, appearance is for exterior and interior visual modifications, as well as general show off.

Doesn't look too bad , good idea, def. would get someones attention. The turn signal idea sounds good esp. if they can go one by one and repeat over from begining to end. Anyone who thinks of something original I will always give them props. Someone did that mod and had red and blue lights flashers for the track, of course street use would be illegal of red and blue lights.

Very original. Looks like you really took your time and it shows. Not my thing but if you like it thats all that matters. I do like how it matches your stripes. :cool:
