  • Factory Alarm controlled by Aftermarket Car Starter?

My car appears to have a factory alarm installed, as I have a red led on my dash that flashes when I shut the car off and it has shock sensors in the fender. I was never given a keyless entry/alarm fob when I purchased the car used. I know I can purchase one from the dealer or online, but I really do not want to carry around another fob on my keychain, so is there any way to either automatically have the alarm turn on when I lock the doors and turn off when I unlock them.. or better yet, is there perhaps a way to hook the alarm system up to the aux controls (can be used for optional modules like auto windows, etc) of my new car starter?

I have the Compustar FT-6200S Remote Start Controller and the RF-P2W9000-SS 2-way Remote.

    Thanks for your input.

Read the owners manual for the car. It tells you how to have the alarm set automatically when you use the power lock button on the door as you exit the car.
