I use my 6000K HID's in both my highs and lows and even run them at the same time and I don't get flashed by other drivers. I have them aimed pretty well and it def. lights up the road at night. I have been just using the lows for awhile now since I haven't been driving out long distances. But when I do go 40-60 mins away and its night time I use both high and low 6000K HID's. Plus it looks cool with both lights on. The plus side is I didn't have to rewire anything they just both work for some reason, the same when I had my fog lights I could run all 3 lights without any problems. I think it is because the HIDs use less watts so the relays think the lights are not on and let the other lights work at the same time, I don't know? Theres a pic oin my Avitar that shows the lows and highs on, this is the 35w kits.

The stock 93-97 Camaro lights can actually be partially excluded from my previous generalizations, mostly due to the design of not only the lights, but also the front end. Here is a picture of the stock beam pattern:

As you can see, there is almost no light going to either side. This is due to the "spot light" type design of the stock headlights paired with the fact that the lights set back into the car and have body lines that protrude past the sides of the headlights which block light from going side to side. So this paired with the fact that the stock headlight's optics are almost entirely on the lens itself rather than on the back of the housing, and you don't get too much blinding light escaping to blind oncoming drivers--probably more or less the same as some other stock headlights. The bigger problem here is blinding the people in front of you.. Of course since these cars are so low to the ground and the driver in front can simply flip on his rear view mirror dimer (unless it's auto) this isn't a big problem for most people.

This doesn't hold up for the 98+ lights, though for the reasons mentioned prior.
