Hey all,
For some time now I have been without a right side turn signal. The hole that the bulb slides through at the top of the housing had a few cracks in it which allowed water to seep inside and short out the bulb. Today I had some time, so I removed the headlight so I could access the marker light housing. I removed the three tiny screws that held it in place, but the darn thing wouldn't come out. There wasn't enough clearance to just slide it out. After a few minutes I gave up and put silicon over the cracks, inserted a new bulb and fastened it back in. I also noticed that there is a large, flat piece of metal laying at the bottom of the housing. I guess it used to stick to the top of the inside of the housing? Also, is there an easier way to remove the marking light housing? I know some of you guys and gals have the clear or tinted housings which will eventually be one of my modifications. That way I know what to do when I get around to replacing them.
Thanks, Joe
