Im trying to replace the passenger side window motor on the new car and its been a PITA...everything came apart on me, and now I have the regulator spring that has popped out and in my hands...I can feel how to put this thing back on, but should it be under any tension? if so, how do you guys put these things back on so that they do have tension on them? I cant think of a way to wind it so that it will have tension and seat into place, I certainly cant do it by hand.

Is that spring imperative? or can I run without it? Im sure it must be there for a reason?

got it...also got the spring back on...with the window fully done up there is not a whole lot of tension on that spring, you are able to snap it into place and wind it back a little and into place...

        Thanks guys.

Last question...on the drivers side the drivers side window switched is reversed (up is down and down is up)

I figure this must be a wiring issue of some sort...how can I go about fixing this?

LOL, i didnt know how to, just knew you needed it. glad you found a way.

As far as the switch thing. Did that just start happening? I dont think you could have accidentally switched wires either, only goes in one way.

the switch itself is the right way...infact its weird...when the window is down and you click the button once the window automatically goes all the way up...but when the window is up and you try clicking the button, you can never get it to go automatically down on one touch...
