      i have a 5" tach t0o.......hey all i did was just hook it up to the car existing tach thats in the gauge cluster already....i cant remember but i believe it was also white wire...i fed it off of the harness that connects to the cluster

        its a th350 v8 making about 400 to the wheels, but i dont think it really matters how much power it has

          so just disconnect the cluster and the white wire in the back tap into it?

            yep!!!..it worked for me.....but thats if it is the white wire though...as i said i wasnt sure of the color

                  yep!...i dont have 1 with me right now....but i did this like right before summer started.....but i really do believe its the all white one....just try it

                    Its been years since I installed my tach, but if I remember correctly I used a pink wire on the back of the ICM for the signal. I also used an autometer tach adapter. I cant remember why I used the adapter, but Im sure I had a good reason.

                        On the back of the base plate under your ignition coils next to the firewall.

                          Mine makes 434 to the tires, and I have no tach, not even factory. Quit being a ricer.

                              If you're running nitrous and controlling manually and/or a manual, they usually have a big shift light and stuff. if you want the rpms bigger.. im not sure.
                              Wait, Is that a V6 or V8?
