12000k bulbs get really hot and don't last long, alot of shops won't even warranty them, not to mention they are often not legal.

HID systems are supposed to last way longer than halogen and they generate less heat.

Any light that didn't come from the factory is illegal. Big woop. Just make sure you have a cap on the end of the bulb. If you don't, that is where all the glare comes from and is what blinds people.

Yea I'm not too worried. I got the projector lenses. My tails are blacked too and I've been pulled and the officer didn't mention anything so whateva.

You can have aftermarket headlights as long as there DOT approved but who checks that anyways... Just sayin'.

I think he meant the color is usaully illegal cause its a really bright pinkish purple color.

yea im sure the color is illegal. But who cares, if the cops pull me over for that they have nothing else better to do haha
