That was the third take because I knew someone was gunna give me greif if I had techno playing in a completely blacked out Camaro lol... and yes. Lights do the same. And the same when the car is running as well.

Looks like a bad flasher unit. I'd go with an electronic one for their consistency and sound.

fyi, the emergency lights use a separate flasher, which is why they still work correctly.

its under the dash, attached to a metal bar on the right side. its tucked up in there so you will have to really look and feel for it. I looked over it like 10 times before i found it. you can pick another one up at the nearest auto store, pretty easy to replace.

i hate to admit it, but venom smells...and is right. lol

its a B to find, if i remember right, it cost like $4 tops. takes two phillips screws and two like 8mm screws..

Take off the panel under the steering via said phillips and 8mm hexes, flip the blinker on and trace the sound. I had no trouble locating the unit.

The standard ones are 2-4 bucks, but I went through several of them trying to find a decent speed and sound level. The first one I had made a weird springy sound, the second was very very quiet, the third extremely loud and annoying. I switched to electronic for the consistency of speed and sound. I switched my Buick's to electronic as well. IIRC those go for about $8.

Agreed. Also, I don't know why the blinker unit is so well hidden.

im sure you just needed fresh blinker fluid anyways
