    HIDs FINALLY!

    Tonight has by far been the most entertaining night for me here at CV6...
    Anyway!



    DDM Tuning HIDs 6000k 35W

    Took me forever to get them and I had terrible luck installing them LOL but they're in and working great.

    Sorry for the terrible pictures, had to use the Blackberry. I'll put up better ones when I remember to take some LOL

    This was such a B!tch to get back on.... I mounted my ballasts under the hood springs on the corners of the Engine bay. They fit perfectly and are hidden nicely.


    The light isn't as scattered as it looks in the picture, again that's my Blackberry doing its thing...


    I capped the bulbs with tin foil as stated in another thread. It worked out surprising well. For not having projectors the light does really well and is directed right where I want it. :banana:

    Nice , I did mine with both low and high's with 6000K HIDs , they both come on so its like double the lights when I want it. I got rid of my fogs when I installed my intercooler and some how they both stay on when I kick the highs on.

      Looks good, looks similar to my 8k lights
      Wait, Is that a V6 or V8?

                  Wait, Is that a V6 or V8?

                        I called DDM. The slim is out of stock and I was told they don't know if they will get more slims. I was also told there's no difference between the slim and the Raptor.

                          It IS a 30th anniversary car.

                          Its also a V6 convertible and I put the stripes on aftermarket. I'm going to get a white top soon hopefully.

                            I got slim ballast HID's from another company locally. they look good and work nice...then grabbed a 40$ set from ebay with some big *** ballasts lol.
