I'm having an issue with my car that whenever I turn on my lights this happens to my fuel guage and the car is full: http://youtu.be/A2nb9j4zsR8. It marks it like if theres a quarter tank missing. I'm just wondering if it's happen to anyone of you guys? I'm thinking it has to be the alternator but I wanted to know for sure before I spent $120.00 on a new alternator.
Thanks.
P.S. Yes I'm planing on doing a led bulb swap soon I just need to get this done 1st.
does it go back to normal reading when you actually turn the car on? or is the car on in the video?
The car is on in the video. It only happens when its on. Sometimes while I'm driving it goes back to marking full but... Most of the time it just stays like if its missing a quarter of the tank.
thats happens to me also but the other way around...meaning when im down to quarter tank it will suddenly drop to E when i stop at a light but goes back to the quarter mark when i start driving again
