  • Firebird owners, check these out

    http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...d=lfdxvnvnfxjb

Wouldn't do me any good with 2 camaros but just thought I'd bring it to any firebird owner's attention. I can see it being good for getting rid of the headlight motors. If done well enough I imagine these could look really good. Reminds me of those new vettes.

I don't think id be lured into that for its hefty price tag of over $1000.

Or just get the metal headlight motor gears. Saves money and doesn't look hideous.

Popup headlights are cool. Why change them?

No - you want this fix kit.

flush mount kits are always really expensive... but i love pop-up head lights. If i had a bird i wouldnt be changing them.

I agree. The Firebird already has a beautiful set of headlights. RKSport has been selling this type of conversion since 1999. So this is nothing new.

If I had a Firebird, I'd go with these.

Yeah the price of those definitely kill their sales. I'm not so much of a fan of the type of light housings they put in their either but I don't think it's a bad idea. IMO they don't look to great on pewter.. that black TA can get away with it though.

Autozone sells reman'd motors with a lifetime warranty. I'd bite the bullit and buy them any and everytime I'd need motors. The gears didnt fix my problem on my old car.

Housings had play in them and were broke which allowed the gears to strip/spin continuesly(sp?).

Much cheaper than those headlights, lol.

Remember to keep the pivot points clean and well-greased. I use a spray white lithium grease.
