  • Possible BCM issue?

I called GM and they said this was a BCM issue, which makes sense becuase my radio also randomly turns on and off. My alt is brand new and has been bench tested. The reason the alt isn't coming on is becuse nothing is being sent to the single wire'd connector that connects to the alternator. I traced everything back to the harness, where it was still dead. I coulnd't find any relative fuses when I checked, and nothing was broken or distressed anyways.

the 00-02 (my car is an 02) is notorious for week solder joints. I got a quote from AES, and they will reflow the board, replace resistors, caps, and relays, and replace with a copper joint.

I'm just seeing if you all had any other ideas before I rip this BCM out and spend 260.00.
