I'm fighting the vats security problem on my 96 v6 bird. I've already jumped out the key switch with resistors. No luck.
I want to just bypass the entire vats system and read somewhere that there was a fuel pump relay that could be jumped out to fix the problem. Just can't find it (if it even exits).
Anybody know how to bypass the entire mess?

When mine went I just bought a new 02' steering column and BCM and installed it, I never tried bypassing it. It was $80 shipped on ebay.
