Hello all,
I have had my '97 Firebird since '99, and have experienced misfiring/ignition problems ever since a recall back in 2000. I have replaced the plugs, wires, coils, and tomorrow will be replacing the ignition module on the recommendation of my mechanic. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and, if so, should I continue to expect ignition/misfire issues with the F-body? As much as I love this car, I don't know if I can continue to dump cash into a problem which is 'fixed' about every 12 months or so. (I know, the math doesn't add up since the recall, but there was some military service including deployments and some long out-of-country fieldwork trips included in there.)
Thanks for any advice.
