This is the second time in about 6 months that the passenger side low beam has gome out. I check the wiring and it seems fine. I had a Sylvania, not getting those again.
Anyone have any sugestions as to what headlights are better for our cars than the OEM? anything that might be brighter or last longer?
Thanks

I think its just one of the things GM engineers design flaws like our fbody's rear axle housing always leaks.:puke:

I was having that problem in my firebird before I sold it. Luckily for me, it was just because the connector to the headlight didn't really fit right- I bought a new connector and everything was all better. Maybe this helps, maybe it doesn't, but definitely jiggle the connector and see if it could be that.

My front turn signals are always going out and my driver side rear brake works only when it feels like it I guess. I've changed the bulb for the brake light a few times and it will work for a day or so then it goes back to just working every once in awhile.
I change my front turn signals and a week later they aren't working. The passenger side one was working until the last hurricane came through and I hit a big lake in the road and after that it didn't work. I get sick of changing them every week though!!!!!!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to answer you man . I have been busy .
Yup , I was ignorant to bulb greese also until about a year ago .
Anyway ,
Bulb greese is greese that goes on the bulb socket before you put it in the socket . It makes your bulbs last much longer , I think it keeps the socket from getting so hot . I bet if you look in your sockets , they look burned and black , thats how mine were .

I'm having the same problem with my passenger side low beam. I can jiggle the connector and it comes on. Need a new connector. Is there anyplace else besides the dealerhsip to buy a replacement connector?
