My buddy has a 1997 Firebird with the Monsoon System and his speakers are blown, especially those in the sail panel. The ones in the front door are barely hanging on, so are the ones in the hatch.They're okay until you crank it up so he needs to replace them all. I know, I know, most people go aftermarket, but he wants to stay with the factory speakers, since he says that he was happy with the sound before they crapped out. He spoke to the local dealer, who wants $59.00 each, but I am sure GMPartsDirect will cost less even when you add shipping cost, so if anyone has the numbers or know wher I get them we very appreciative.
PS. Dealer won't give up the numbers.
