is it possible to get wires from the other side of the firewall?

There is many ways to get through the firewall without drilling holes. The most popular is the grommit behind the PCM. Unbolt the two bolts from the PCM. (passenger side, close to firewall) Move it aside and you should see it. It's PLENTY big enough to take any size wire under 00AWG. :D

Remove the trim under the glove box, poke a long screwdriver through the hole, and you'll see where it comes out on the other side.
