Can I buy a screen and just connect my PS2 to it. Can I connect the screen to my stereo and get sound out of it? How much should I expect to pay?

how big of a lcd? Where do you want to mount it? In dash? Also yes you can hook up your lcd to your speakers and a ps2 without too much problem.

Well that all depends on what kind of lcd screen you want do you want one that comes outta the dash then you can use the alpine cva800 cause that has a cd player in it also that runs i think about 1100 bucks and you can hook anything from a ps2 to a vcr or dvd player to it or you can do this a lcd screen that mounts on your dash like i did then a deck with a audio inputs on it you might get by alittle cheaper depending on the deck but your still gona be at least 600 dollars at the minimum and thats probly a small screen and just a decent deck like mind was 500 for the 7 inch screen and then 350 for the deck so i'm at 850 bucks for the pair and my deck ahs more options then the cva800

So i guess it all comes down on what you wana spend and where you wana located your tv personally i like the indash fold out cause it;s stealth but like mine i take one wing screw out and put the tv in my glove box but you still have that mount sticking up on your dash so the choice is yours good luck

i have ps2 and screen in my car email me if u want pics, also ill sell the screen for 150 plus shpping. its a 5inch screen it looks really cool email me for pics

I got a 5.6" for 99 bucks, and i'm gonna buy an FM modulator from ebay, so i've basically got the same set up that you have for 800 for less than 200. Check e-bay you can get LCD screens on there all day for less than $150, and the FM modulators usually go for less than $50, i've been working on mine for about a week, and i'm going to relocate the headunit, and put the LCD indash, i've got a clarion Head unit, so it's not full factory size eaiser to relocate. My advice check e-bay, just make sure when you buy something from there you search the web to make sure you can't buy it somewhere else cheaper.

Yes but alas just cause it's cheap dosen;t mean the quaity is always good you gotta take that into concideration. some screen will have crap for a picture during the day or period or other will have angle view problems meaning you will have to be directly infront of it all the time to get the best picture outta of it but hey if you got it for 99 bucks and it's a good unit then you got a steal then and i congradulate you but buyer beware on them your better of gettin a chance to look at them at a shop before you buy Just a heads up somtimes you get what you pay for :mad:
