• Install Question Regaurding Stealth Box

I have a passenger side stealth and will be getting a bigger one soon. My question is has anyone ever fiberglassed that rear panel to there stealth box or can it be done without it tearing off or getting destroyed, becuase i dont exactly like the look of the cut i made into the plastic.

Thanks guys

Aaron

Now thats different. Building the box permanently in the car. It was a good idea if the bottom and sides of the box were fiberglass.
And he said he got 3.5 cubes! omg!

It's a good idea in theory. But there's no way I would do that to my car. For one, he cut the antenna/spare tire bracket out. And the back of the enclosure is the metal skin of the car. How long before the paint starts to crack and chip on the exterior surface? Feel sorry for the person who buys this car used and opens that up and sees the remnants of a plywood silicone box that was stuck to the inside of the fender. I'm sure it sounds amazing. But that's a little extreme for me. My .02

Ya I know what you mean Steve, thats why I would NEVER do that. 1st time ive actually seen someone do that before!

Wouldnt the metal warp over time?

That's what I would think. Can you imagine if he cranked that up on a heavy bass note and sucked the fender in or something
 Yikes
