anybody ever sent a fishtape under their carpet and up to their HU to take RCA cables back to their sub? obviously i have never installed a sub before but i think the idea is stupid enough to work. any reasons at all why it won't work?

it is too easy to take out the interior to try to use a fish tape, unscrew the kick panels, and they come right out.
if you look at some pics of the interior, the seat mounting points are raised, and will give you problems with a fish tape.

the floor of your car isn't smooth like the kitchen floor in your house. it has little ridges & brackets all over the place. imho fish tape would just be a pita.
removing the trim beside your door is 4 phillips #2 screws, the seat is 4 nuts & the seatbelt is one biga$$ torx bolt. then you can peel the carpet back pretty easily....depends how you want to run your wire...our interior comes apart very easily.
