What's the wait time on a single or dual 12" well box? And what's the max airspace for the one that sits on the ledges instead of going all the way down?

Secondly, you said before that the Milhouse can't handle the Brahma(39lbs). Is there any way to get around this? Would it be possible to fabricate some sort of feet on the underside of the box that rest on the two ledges? That way the strain would be off of the rest of the box.

Here is a poor example of what I mean (below). The red piece can be any size really. It's just to brace the foot and help keep it in place. The yellow doesn't even really have to be a thin slice like that either. It could be a big block mounted to each side just so long as it rests on the ledges to keep the strain off. Or, would it be possible somehow to just make the sub enclosure larger so it rests on the ledges? Anyway, here's the pic. I hope cryptopsy doesn't mind me using his pic.

I'm sure cryptopsy don't mind. My standard well box size is 1.0 cubes per chamber. So the whole box is 2.0 cubes without the lower extension.

Are you still wanting the sub facing forward and is that why you drew those supports? I can build that part into the box.

What I am concerned about is possibly stressing those pivot pockets in the hatch panels. Although, the milhouse is incredibly lightweight. So the more I think about it, I think the brahma would be OK--but not two of them. I'm up for the challenge.

yeah no joke steve... not to get off the original subject but shipping only came to 19lbs?!?! NICE!!

ChameleonGreen is on to something... those supports are a good idea. now if you could re-enforce those pivoting pockets you're talking about.... that sounds easy. all my good ideas come to me when i just get up in the morning (strange...) so i'll let ya know if i think of anything! :D

you could always reinforce those pockets wiht my quarter panels which are much stronger then stock and already hold subs in them.. and then you could buy a milhouse box and run 4 subs and help out 2 sellers. :D
