• Give me some HU choices...

So far I have CDT Eurosports for my front components going to run off a clarion APX 401.2 amp. My rear fills will be CDT CL-61's off the HU. I am putting an e10A sub in the rear in a subthump stealthbox which will run off a dpx1000.1 . I need help in picking a reasonably priced (under $400) HU to keep my car extremely SQ. My first thoughts are the ALPINE 9813. What else should i consider? All comments are welcome.

I'd definitely reccomend the Alpine CDA-9813. It's just amazing in every way. The sound quality, the features, it's got everything. Of course, I might be a bit biased, since I own one ;)

It's got MP3 cd playback, tons of equalizer settings, and even a setting that will let you separate the sound coming out of each speaker so the music always reaches your ears at exactly the same time.

9813 is going to be your best bang for the buck. No doubt.

if you are an alpine man go with the cda7969. it is pure audiophile quality. trust me. only thing about it is it has no internal amp but comes with the fantom face which is a very nice theft deterent. only way to get it is to find one on ebay. they run about $300 and its lightyears ahead of any other hu for that price. if you want another brand to look at try the high end ( cd8053 and cd8443 ) and mid level ( cd5433 and cd5423) eclipse hu's to me they are the best but you do have to pay for them. the low end eclipse's ( cd4313 and cd3403 ) i would put at the same level as the alpine the other members listed, which is by no means a bad unit for the price. but if you are wanting an all out multimedia hu go with the ole Eclipse ESN E3 5.8 wide tft display/cd/tap reciever. it is awsome just check it out. also check out some high end kenwoods and panasonic's they aint too bad. umm what else is there... i guess go check out eclipse's website at http://www.eclipse-web.com/
