I just got one the other day open box at circuit city. It's like a 500 dollar amp and I got it for $209. You gotta love open box! I'm going to be using it to power a thunderform box with a 10" thunder6000. Anyone ever used one of these amps before, or have any opinions towards it?

It seems like a damn good amp, only thing I've been wondering...what does that mean when you say it's a "Class D" amp?1996 Pontiac Firebird: A4, Flowmaster 80 Series, dual 3\" Stainless Steel tips, SLP CAI, Alpine CDA-9813 deck, Infinity speakers, Alpine Type R sub, MTX Thunder 801d amp, Tsunami 2 Farad Capacitor.
http://www.cardomain.com/id/firebirdfury

Class D technology uses a switch mode transistor output rather than a linear mode...allowing less power dissipation from the amp allowing the amp to run cooler and operate very efficiently with little distortion...also their smaller
