  • Wiring up keyless entry on a 95 bird, help

hey guys, Well i wanna add some keyless entry love to my 95 bird.

First i figured i could just add a unit form a 99 SS , but then i find i need the body control module from iit, and i think it would just be too much of a headache, to convert my 95 over to the 96+ BCM.

Does my 95 even have a BCM?

also, if i was to go out and just get a plane jane keyless entry system, where the heck would i wire up the reciever? behind the glovebox?

im confused, anyone know how to wire a keyless entry system in?

just any old keyless entry/alarm module should do then. Unless you're just looking to use the factory key fob, just do yourself a favor and save some money by buying a regular keyless entry module from DEI, someone here has the model numbers for it. You just need that and some relays and you'll need to know what wires on your car are used for lock/unlock and that's it. I don't know those colors for the wires, but someone here will.
