I just got two 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch Z's for only $25 a piece new in box with 4 year service plans. I wasn't gonna get any subs, but I thought $50 for 2 12's was a pretty decent price... Any comments? Now, I need an amp to power this.. which one would go good. I believe the subs are 200w a piece. I have a bose setup (two door speakers) and an aftermarket head unit. I am gonna rip out the bose, buy 2 new door speakers, and add 2 two the rear seat speakers. Then the two subs in the back. Is this a waste of time? or is it worth it? It will cost me under 400$ cause I work at best buy. However because of the new wiring that must take place because of bose and adding back speakers, installation is gonna cost an arm and a leg. $150+ Hehe, anybody live close to bel air, md and want to install everything for me? i don't know anything, for all i know, the subs i bought are ****. anyhow, can anybody recommend anything for me, like which speakers to get and which amp to get? Thanks :D

I recommend Rockford Fosgate Punch amps. You can pick up a 500.2 amp (125x2 @ 4 ohms, 250x2 @ 2 ohms) for $285 on Ebay from a reprutable seller. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1352892359 This about half of retail price.

If you can get your hands on a Power series of amps (dunno if they make them any more) they have a remote controled bass boost that's really slick.

    Anyways, good luck!

That's a good question. I have one of those subs i have been running for about 2 months. But a week ago i decided to get another one(Gotta Have Two 12's) currently i am running a Rockford 100.2 in bridged mode so it says its pushing 202 watts and the limit is 200. So my question is what amp would be good for 2 12's and how much over the watt limit can i go and what can these subs really handle?
