Just an info post for those of you that would like to know or those who will do a search in the future.
I installed a Pioneer DEH-P8500MP into my 1998 3.8 this past weekend to replace my Pioneer DEH-P47DH (which is in the for-sale section btw) and I'm giving great props to this deck. The frequency response is incredible and I'm hearing parts of the song that I've never noticed before. It's loud enough without an extrenal amp that I can hear it with my after-market replacement speakers over my SLP Loudmouth exhaust at cruising speeds. It's attractive and the OEL display is very top-notch. The MP3/WMA player is very high quality and my only minor complaint is that the initial load time is a tad slow (but after the disk loads, the rest que just fine).
I got it, as well as my pioneer replacements speakers, auxillary rca plug-in (for the stereo), & dynomat extreme bulk pak from TheZeb for excellent prices with fast shipping. I would recommend this site if you're buying.
