I figure alot of you guys have tvs and stuff in your cars so I have some very basic questions.
What are the basics, Lcd screen, a medium(ie vcr, dvd, tuner) an antenna? if I want to watch tv or does the radio one work? Do I need somethins special to tap into the radio speakers( ie a radio with aux inputs, RF modulator?)
Let me know how your systems work.
Thanks!

Many of us have PS2's in our cars. Then you can watch DVD's and play games. But if you want to pick up TV stations, you'll need a tuner. You could probably find a cheap one for like $75, but they commonly come in package deals with LCDs. In order to hear the audio through your stereo, you'll need an RF mod or a headunit with aux inputs. If you use the aux inputs, make sure the tuner/LCD/whatever has RCA outputs. I used to have a very cheap tuner that used this huge pigtail type thing. It only plugged into it's own RF mod. That thing was a POS. If you're planning on putting the LCDs in the sunvisors, make damn sure you buy the thinest screen possible. Under 1/2". Also, you have to knock out the sunvisor mirrors. Be careful. The sunvisor becomes very flimsy without the mirror support. Ebay is a great place to look around. Lemme know if you have any more questions.
