• CD Player won't play MP3's

Okay, I already know that our stock cd players won't play mp3's.
Is there a way to convert them, and what do I convert them to? .wav, .wmv,...?? I honestly don't want to go to the store and buy another music file. I have MusicMatch10 already. I downloaded it for free, but I cannot find out how to convert mp3 files.

Any help is appreciated.

Usually, whenever you burn an audio CD, it will convert the MP3s to the proper format (CD-DA I believe) automatically. For instance, if you use Nero to burn CDs, select Audio CD from the Nero StartSmart menu. Then select the songs you want (usually adds up to 80 minutes, depends on disc type) and burn it. If you are trying to play an MP3 disc in the stock CD player, it won't work. Hope I answered your question, I can be confusing at times...

I don't have Nero. Do I have to buy it or is it a free download?

You can get any CD burning software and select Music CD, then place about 70 min of songs on there, and burn.

No, it basically converts them back to .wav and burns them in music CD format.
