97 camaro, 6 speakers?

My 97 camaro has 6 speakers? Was this stock? Also, my middle speakers ( bass? ) are both gone, how much would it cost to replace them? And there is a wire in the back left corner of the car, that has a weird connector at the end of it, was it for a 6 disc changer or something? Thanks guys!

some f-bodies came with better sound systems (bose or monsoon), i think they came with anywhere from 6-10 speakers. my 97 firebird has the monsoon with 10 speakers, all of which maybe 3 still work lol

My firebird 1997 came with 4 speakers. I now have T/A doors - 6 speaker. looking for the back pannels with the speaker moldings so I can have 8 speaker then replace then with 2 each for 10. I have 4 of the stock speakers if u want them. they work perfectly, just changed them out with a set of Bostons I got for free from a race. U can have them for like a couple bucks + the shipping
