well i have 2 rockford punches and a power acoustic amp rated at 400W's. its a 2 channel that i have bridged. it sounds very nice. not GREAT, but its getting the job done very nice. i want to upgrade to 2 Jl 12W6's in a ported box by megabass with a rocford 800.2 amp. but thats a lot of $$$$$$$. but i feel that mine sounds very nice. i paid 250 for everything(it was from a friend). i've gotten a bunch of compliments on it, too. good luck finding something!

Forget that other stuff. You want two Adire Audio Shivas. $125 each. You'll need about 1.25 cu. ft. or airspace per sub though. So, if you're not willing to give up your whole trunk, then don't get these. But, if you are, these can't be beaten for the price.

also take a look at the blueprint subs. the 1201 i think, goes for around $99 and it has slightly larger Xmax than then Shiva. i think their website is www.blueprintdrivers.com

the only problem with these "home-theater" based drivers is that they take more space in a sealed box than your average car sub. the sound is compareable to hiiiiigh dollar car stereo subs. i might get a pair of these if i can get a custom box built for not too much $$....otherwise i'll probly get a pair of the 12" kicker compVR. I used to have some a pair of mtx6000 12" and then i heard my friends VRs, they were seriously uncomfortably loud, lol.
