I forgot! 1 more question. How would I connect the sub to amp if I want a 1ohm load?

I dont think you want a 1ohm load. I personally do not know of any subs that run 1ohm or amps that can run 1ohm steadily. Sorry I can't help. BUT if there is a way that it actually works. IF you have a 2OHM DVC sub.. you can just wire it like the above picture and it will drop it to 1OHM. But I do NOT recommend doing this until you know both your AMP and SUB can run with that low of an impedance.

There are a TON.... need to get out of the house more. ;) Second, the amp is the only thing that needs to be stable at any load. Be it 20 or .02 ohms, the sub doesn't care. 500WRMS is 500WRMS regardless of the load needed on the amp to output the power. (all other things equal) Just kinda correcting your wording there. Your sub is dual 2 ohm correct? Then you are already running at a 1ohm load! As we said, your amp terminals are paralleled on the inside. So if you have the sub wired like the drawing above OR one voice coil to each amp terminal, your running a 1ohm load.
